• Account data: email address, display name, profile role (artist, creator, or brand), and authentication credentials.
• Payout information: PayPal email address or Stripe Connect account details, necessary to process payments.
• Submitted URLs: links to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts that you submit as clip evidence.
• View data: publicly available view counts and engagement metrics associated with your submitted URLs, collected via platform APIs or manual reporting.
• Uploaded content: audio files, track metadata, brand logos, and campaign assets.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to operate the weclipwave platform: to authenticate you, process your track uploads and clip submissions, calculate and distribute earnings, display campaign analytics, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

weclipwave integrates with the following third-party services:

• Stripe — for payment processing, subscription billing, and creator payouts. Stripe's privacy policy governs data processed through their services.
• TikTok / Instagram / YouTube APIs — to retrieve publicly available metadata (title, thumbnail, view count) for submitted clip URLs. We do not access your private social media accounts.
• Google Auth — as an optional authentication method. Google's privacy policy applies to data shared during OAuth sign-in.

User Rights & Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request account deletion and removal of all associated data, email privacy@weclipwave.app from your registered email address. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records.
